Renuka Chowdarys clout growing

HYDERABAD: Has AICC spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Renuka Chowdary become another power centre in state politics?

It appears so considering that whenever she is in Hyderabad, her residence buzzes with activity. On Sunday chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy visited her residence but the official reason given was that he chose to call on her in the day since he could not attend her daughter's wedding.

"We belong to the same party. We had so many things to discuss. We sat and discussed them," Renuka Chowdary said, speaking to media persons later.

Kiran Kumar Reddy's sudden meeting with Renuka fulled speculation in the wake of reports that the party high command, after the presidential election, might take drastic measures to set the state Congress house in order and one of the measures might be change of guard in the state.

Challapalli Fort - History of Yarlagadda Zamindars

Challapalli is a village in Krishna district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Challapalli mandal of Machilipatnam revenue division. The Rajah of Challapalli, Srimanthu Raja Yaralagadda Ankineedu Prasad Bahadur Garu built this Palace in the early 18th centaury.
