Bhavanam Jayaprada passed away

Bhavanam Jayaparada (77), ex-State Minister (was a Kamma, native of Brahmana Koduru-Guntur district) and wife of former Chief Minister Bhavanam VenkataramReddy died in Hyderabad on Saturday. She was the Minister for Power for some time in 1973 in P.V.NarmasimhaRao cabinet , She was elected twice (1967,72) as MLA from Vinukonda. Jayaprada is survived by two daughters.

'Andhra Soggadu' Sobhan Babu died at his home in Chennai after he suffered a fatal spinal injury when he fell from the staircase.
