Coimbatore, October 6: The Coimbatore-based textile machinery manufacturer Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd (LMW) made its foray into Chinese textile machinery market with the launch of ring frame by its wholly-owned subsidiary LMW Textile Machinery (Suzhou) Co Ltd, China, on last Wednesday at a function held in Shanghai.
Mr M.K. Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, launched LMW's ring frame in the presence of Mr Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu, Managing Director, LMW, Mr S. Balachandran, Consul, Consulate General of India to China and Mr Du, Deputy Director of Wujiang Economic Development Zone.
Mr Jayavarthanavelu said his company supplied the entire range of textile machinery to set up a spinning mill and was confident that the new machine launched in China would meet customers' expectations, according to a release from Mr K.Soundhar Rajhan, Chairman of LMW's China subsidiary.
