Nick Cherukuri Inventor and Founder CEO of ThirdEye Gen

Nick Cherukuri is an American entrepreneur and inventor based in Princeton, New Jersey. He is better known for his work in engineering and Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR). He is the founder and CEO of ThirdEye Gen, an augmented reality company. In 2019, he was selected into Forbes 30 Under 30 for Enterprise Technology.

Cherukuri was born and raised in Princeton, NJ into a family of engineers. He attended The Lawrenceville School and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. While a student he was a member of the Penn Men’s Rugby team and also was in the Golf and Rowing clubs. As a student he was an intern at a Defense contractor company as well as a student tutor. At University of Pennsylvania, he helped found the Penn AR/VR Club which was one of the first college clubs formed to study Augmented Reality. In an interview with STARTUP INFO, he attributed his interest in AR/MR from the creation of this club, “While in school, I co-founded the Penn Virtual & Augmented Reality Club, which quickly grew to several hundred members.”

In 2016, Cherukuri founded ThirdEye Gen, a sotfware company where he serves as its CEO. The company officially left stealth mode in 2017 and came to market with its first augmented reality product the X1 AR Smart Glasses.The company grew over the next few years focusing on enterprise AR tech and it developed its next X2 MR Smart Glasses which was released in 2020. The X2 included MR technology such as 6 DoF tracking, plane detection and an all-in-one ruggedized design.

ThirdEye also developed custom subscription software for healthcare and field services that enabled remote telepresence and other features. Cherukuri was granted several patents in this field, later those patents were assined to ThirdEye. Currently, ThirdEye has presence in over a dozen countries and sells worldwide to military, healthcare and field services use cases. ThirdEye has launched the ThirdEye Foundation which will donate AR tech to charity and underprivileged areas with the goal to increase education.

Munu Adhi: Former Speaker Tamilnadu Assembly and 4 times MLA

Munu Adhi (Born 4 September 1926, Died 21 June 2005) born at Tambaram near Chennai - Tamilnadu. Mr Munu Adhi started his political career as a member of the Socialist Party in 1945. He joined the DMK in 1953 and was elected to the Tamil Nadu Assembly for four consecutive terms, in 1962, 1965, 1971 and 1977. Having begun his political career with the DMK, the four-time Member of the Legislative Assembly, switched his loyalty to the AIADMK in 1972 when M G Ramachandran founded the party, after breaking away from the DMK. The case of the Kammas of Andhra Pradesh Dalel Benbabaali In the existing literature on caste, the concept of territory, which can be defined as social, economic and political appropriation of space, is very often absent. My argument is that one cannot understand caste dominance without taking into account territorial control. This argument is all the more relevant in the case of Andhra Pradesh, where the demand for a separate Telangana State is partly related to questions of caste domination. Traditionally, the Kammas are dominant in Coastal Andhra, whereas the Reddis are dominant in the interior regions of Telangana and Rayalaseema. These two castes have been controlling the politics of Andhra Pradesh since the formation of the State in 1956, and even before, since they were at the forefront of the movement for a linguistic Telugu State. Kamma. — Writing collectively concerning the Kammas, Kāpus or Reddis, Velamas, and Telagas, Mr. W.Francis states that "all four of these large castes closely resemble one another in appearance and customs, and seem to have branched off from one and the same Dravidian stock. Originally soldiers by profession, they are now mainly agriculturists and traders, and some of them in the north are zamindars (land-owners) . The Rāzus, who now claim to be Kshatriyas, were probably descended from Kammas, and Velamas.
