  Biden has nominated Indian- American Judge Rupa Ranga Puttagunta: Nominee for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia If confirmed by the US Senate, Judge Puttagunta would be the first Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) woman to serve on the US District Court for the District of DC, the White House has said.  Rupa's  parents migrated to USA from 'Kalavapamula' Village, Krishna District, AP, India.  Judge Puttagunta received her Juris Doctor degree from Ohio State Moritz College of Law in 2007 and her B.A. from Vassar College in 2002.

Ravi Arimilli   (born 1963) is an   IBM Fellow   and Chief Architect  for analytics, big data and blockchain platforms. He has been a pioneer in the IT industry due to his research and execution of technology-driven paradigm shifts.   Largely responsible for development of the   POWER5 , he is one of the most   prolific inventors   in the world , being awarded 78 patents in 2002 and a further 53 in 2003. He has over 507 patents to his name and is listed among the most   prolific inventors   in the world as measured by U.S. utility patents. Currently he is the Senior Vice President at State Street Technology (STT). Arimilli moved with his family to the United States from  Andhra Pradesh , India, in 1969. He studied at  Louisiana State University , and joined IBM in 1985. His expertise includes  symmetric multiprocessing  (SMP) system structures,  cache /memory hierarchies and  system bus  protocols.

  The Fiji Dental Association has appointed a new president. Dr Parish Naidu takes over from former president Dr Vikash Singh. Dr Naidu runs the Shortlane Dental clinic in Nadi. He graduated from the Fiji School of Medicine’s School of Oral Health in 2003 top of his class where he received a gold medal and trophy for community dentistry. Sathya Naidu / Sathyanarayanan Sudarsan Naidu (born November 9, 1992) is the first Hindu member of the Seychelles National Assembly . He is also the youngest parliamentarian in the 7th National Assembly.   He was elected from the St. Louis constituency in the 2020 Seychelles Parliamentary Election . Early life Naidu was born on November 9, 1992.   A five-year-old Vijayawada girl pulled off a world record by reciting 100  decimal numbers  of  Pi value   in just 18.1 seconds .  Abhigna Tripuraneni  st udying UKG was recognised as the fastest kid to recall the Pi value up to 100 decimal numbers by Champions Book of World Records and also by Indian Book of Records. Abhigna’s recited the Pi value in 19.4 seconds first when she appeared before Indian Book of Records. Tiger Invests in Crypto Platform FalconX Valued at $675 Million FalconX, a cryptocurrency trading platform, raised $50 million from investors including Tiger Global Management and B Capital Group, according to people with knowledge of the matter. The San Mateo, California-based startup, led by Chief Executive Officer Raghu Yarlagadda, is valued at about $675 million as a result of the new investment, said the people, who asked not to be identified. The company, which is profitable, processes about $6 billion in volume a month for institutional investors, and has experienced significant revenue growth amid increased interest in cryptocurrencies, one of the people said.
