Rohan Pavuluri is an American entrepreneur based in Chicago,
Illinois. He is the co-founder of Upsolve. Rohan was chosen to be on the
Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2018 for the Law and Policy category.
Rohan attended Harvard University and graduated with a
degree in Statistics.
Rohan was an intern for various political activities
including campaigns for Raja for Illinois (2009), Quinn for Illinois
(2010-2011), Obama 2012, and Maggie Hassan for Governor (2012).[1] He worked
for the Office of the Illinois Governor (2012) and Illinois Office of Trade and
Investment (2013).
Rohan worked as a consultant for the Albright Stonebridge
Group and United States Digital Service. In Feburary 2016, Rohan co-founded Upsolve
to give low-income Americans the means to get a fresh start through bankruptcy
without having to hire a lawyer. Together with lawyer Jonathan Petts and
programmer Kevin Moore, the Harvard student built an online tool that eases
users through the process of inputting the financial information necessary to
create a bankruptcy filing.
