Suresh Chitturi, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Srinivasa Hatcheries Limited was been nominated chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Andhra Pradesh for the period up to March 2015. Ramachandra Naidu Galla, Chairman of Amararaja Industries Limited has been nominated as the Vice-Chairman, according to an official release.
Mr. Suresh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering from R.V College of Engineering, Bangalore and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Goizueta Business School, Emory University, Atlanta (USA). His Group’s flagship company Srinivasa Hatcheries Limited is a listed company and the market leader in poultry breeding in Andhra Pradesh with a substantial market share.
Mr. Ramachandra is the Chairman of Rs. 5,000 crore Amara Raja Group of Companies which he built from grass-root level over the last 27 years. He is an electrical engineer by profession and has acquired Master’s Degree in System Sciences at Michigan State University USA in 1968. He has worked briefly for US Steel Corporation, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania (USA) and later joined Sargent & Lundy in 1971. He worked in various capacities until 1985 before he turned a full-time entrepreneur and founder of Amara Raja Group.
