Lavu Nageswara Rao, senior advocate from Andhra Pradesh, has been appointed Additional Solicitor-General in the Supreme Court for a period of three years. Mr. Rao (46) was enrolled in June 1982 and practised in the Andhra Pradesh High Court till January 1995, when he shifted to the apex court. Mason resident  Vignesh   Gogineni   won two matches before losing in the finals of the Boys 12 Singles division at the Association of Tennis Professionals and Women’s Tennis Association Junior Tennis Championships on Aug. 9-11 in Cincinnati. According to the United States Tennis Association, he lost to Anderson McDowell, of Cold Spring,  Ky ., 7-5, 6-4. He defeated  Akshay   Joshi , of Mason, 6-0, 6-0; and Charles  Temming , of, Mason 6-2, 6-2. Eleven people competed in this division at the competition, which was held at the Five Seasons Family Sports Club.
