Vignesh Gogineni competes in ATP and WTA championships

Mason resident Vignesh Gogineni won two matches before losing in the finals of the Boys 12 Singles division at the Association of Tennis Professionals and Women’s Tennis Association Junior Tennis Championships on Aug. 9-11 in Cincinnati.

According to the United States Tennis Association, he lost to Anderson McDowell, of Cold Spring, Ky., 7-5, 6-4. He defeated Akshay Joshi, of Mason, 6-0, 6-0; and Charles Temming, of, Mason 6-2, 6-2.

Eleven people competed in this division at the competition, which was held at the Five Seasons Family Sports Club.

Challapalli Fort - History of Yarlagadda Zamindars

Challapalli is a village in Krishna district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Challapalli mandal of Machilipatnam revenue division. The Rajah of Challapalli, Srimanthu Raja Yaralagadda Ankineedu Prasad Bahadur Garu built this Palace in the early 18th centaury.
