P K Sekar Babu, Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments

The portfolios for 34 departments in Tamil Nadu, including the Chief Minister, were sworn in today. Stalin has given the opportunity to 15 newcomers.

The most important of these newcomers is PK Sekar Babu. He contested and won the RK Nagar constituency in the 2001 and 2006 assembly elections as AIADMK candidate.

He is an ardent believer of Jayalalithaa. He was also the AIADMK secretary for North Chennai district. He is proud to have held more public meetings in Tamil Nadu. Sehgar Babu had the opportunity to enter Jayalalithaa's close circle as he is the son in law of AIADMK Presidium Chairman Madhusudhanan.

Later Sekar Babu joined the DMK with his supporters in the presence of Karunanidhi in January 2011. Challapalli Fort - History of Yarlagadda Zamindars

Challapalli is a village in Krishna district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Challapalli mandal of Machilipatnam revenue division.
