Breaking all the memory boundaries, a 12-year-old student of
Oakridge International School - Hyderabad Avinash Sai Gogineni proved his impeccable
skills at the 26th World Memory Championships in Shenzhen, China held recently.
He along with 17 other teammates represented India and made
the country proud by winning the 4th position in the world. Memorising is not
just a knack but a skill that can be learned with meticulous effort and that is
exactly what Avinash has done and prepared himself for the world memory
championship.
“With my record-breaking scores, I was amongst the top
competitors in the Indian team,” said Avinash. He has ranked third position in
the memory test in India and then qualified for internationals. “My school
teachers have always encouraged me to do better and the school has been very
supportive, which has helped me to put-in more training hours when needed” says
Avinash. “We are extremely proud of
Avinash's achievement and are convinced this is just the beginning of even
greater things to come.” said ArjunRao, Principal of Oakridge International
