Akhil partnered with State in Smart Village drive
Akhil Nimmagadda, a techie from Mothadaka village (Tadikonda
mandal) in the Capital region has been selected for The Youth Assembly at the
United Nations organised by the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation (FAF).
Mr. Akhil, who currently resides and works in a city of
North Carolina, US, said in a release, that he recently partnered with the
State government in the Smart Village initiative and been involved in various
social activities which made him gain entry to the event in which
representatives from over 100 countries participate.
Mr. Akhil is one among the few Indians who were selected for
the event.
“The delegates are selected based on the contribution to the
community and those who are ready to take the assembly’s sustainable
development goals forward,” he said.
The assembly will be held on February 14, 15 and 16 in New
York.
