Bhopal: Surapaneni Koteswara Rao, a former director of research
services of an agriculture university, has been appointed as the new vice
chancellor of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agriculture University in Gwalior.
Born in Polukonda, Andhra Pradesh, India on 8 March 1952.
Educated at PVCMZPH School, Rudrapaka, Andhra Pradesh 1968; Pre University, Sir
CRR College Eluru, 1971; B.Sc. 1974, Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada; College
of Agriculture, JNKVV, Jabalpur M.Sc.(Ag) 1977, Ph.D. 1980.
Rao has been appointed for a period of five years by Madhya
Pradesh Governor, O P Kohli, the official from the public relation department
said.
Rao has earlier served as former director, research services
of the Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vidyalaya, Jabalpur.
