Ravi Chandra Adusumalli aged 38 years is a Managing Partner and the Head of India operations for Softbank Asia Infrastructure Fund (SAIF) Partners. He joined SAIF in early 2002 and is responsible for spearheading SAIF Partners’ investment in India. Prior to SAIF, he worked at Mobius Venture Capital, a $ 1.25 billion early stage venture capital firm in the Silicon Valley. He also worked at Credit Suisse as an Associate and was also with Wasatch Funds, a mutual fund with over $9 billion in assets that specialized in small-cap and micro-cap companies listed on US and international exchanges.

He won accolades for hand-holding the listing of MakeMyTrip on NASDAQ. His other investments in the Internet space include HomeShop18, Sify Technologies Ltd, One97 Communications, FirstCry.com, iStream.com, Inkfruit.com, zovi.com, PropTiger Realty Pvt Ltd and iXiGO.com. He serves on the board of directors of SAIF’s investments in National Stock Exchange, MakeMyTrip, HomeShop18, One97 Communications, JustDial, Mainland China and ntelligroup. Mr.Adusumalli graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Government.

Challapalli is a village in Krishna district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Challapalli mandal of Machilipatnam revenue division.
