Jayadev Gala: An Entrepreneur and Guntur MP belonging to Telugu Desam Party, Jayadev Galla, with total assets of over
683 crore, is the wealthiest parliamentarian in the 16th Lok Sabha.
This is based on the assets he declared during filing his nomination papers. He is also the managing director of Amara Raja batteries that sells the famous 'Amaron' batteries. Jayadev has won appreciation from Guntur people for his vision to develop the constituency and is voted to power with huge majority of 69,633 against YSR Congress Party candidate Balashowry Vallabhaneni. Jayadev is the son of former minister Galla Aruna Kumari. He ventured into politics on 8 March 2014.
