In the girls singles 7th seed Thai girl Bunyawi Thamchaiwat played some aggressive ground strokes and moved Pranjala Yadlapalli from one corner to another taking the set at 6-3. In 2nd set Pranjala fought back and matching every shot that 7th seed hit. Pranjala kept her cool and took the set at 6-2. In the third and final deciding set Pranjala took an early 3-0 lead. After this she maintained her lead and lost only 3 games to win the final set at 6-3.
