Pranay Chowdary Malempati winner of 2012 Delaware State Spelling Bee

Delaware’s contestant in the Scripps National Spelling Bee 2012 is 13-year-old Pranay Malempati, an eighth-grader at Waters Middle School in Middletown.

Malempati won Delaware’s Spelling Bee in March, which drew 93 entrants from across the state. He also competed in the national Bee in 2010.

Pranay placed first in the individual and team events at the regional Math League competition.

In the state Science Olympiad he won third place for “Disease Detectives” and third place for “Microbe Mission.”

Pranay has earned the Life Scout rank in Boy Scouts, and he plays Little League baseball.

Pranay Chowdary Malempati, correctly spelled "pallor" and "mahout" at the Scripps National Spelling Bee 2012 in National Harbor, Md., but his performance on a written test reduced his chances to enter in to semifinals.

Challapalli Fort - History of Yarlagadda Zamindars

Challapalli is a village in Krishna district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Challapalli mandal of Machilipatnam revenue division. The Rajah of Challapalli, Srimanthu Raja Yaralagadda Ankineedu Prasad Bahadur Garu built this Palace in the early 18th centaury.
