Munu Adhi: Former Speaker Tamilnadu Assembly and 4 times MLA

Munu Adhi (Born 4 September 1926, Died 21 June 2005) born at Tambaram near Chennai - Tamilnadu.  Mr Munu Adhi started his political career as a member of the Socialist Party in 1945. He joined the DMK in 1953 and was elected to the Tamil Nadu Assembly for four consecutive terms, in 1962, 1965, 1971 and 1977.  Having begun his political career with the DMK, the four-time Member of the Legislative Assembly, switched his loyalty to the AIADMK in 1972 when M G Ramachandran founded the party, after breaking away from the DMK.  For the fourth time, he was elected to the state Assembly in 1977 when the AIADMK, headed by MGR, came to power for the first time and Munu Adhi was made the Speaker of the Assembly. He held that post till 1980. C Narayanasamy Naidu Iconic farmer leader, founder of Tamil Nadu Agriculturalists Association

Many of the leaders who fought for the lives of farmers. Among them are C Narayanasamy Naidu is very important. Chinnamanna Narayanaswamy Naidu , who was born on 06.02.1925 at Seengalipalayam village near Coimbatore, lost his mother in 40 days of birth. Narayanasamy, who was engaged in agriculture after marriage, realized how big a fight was. In the early 1950s, the amount of electricity delivered to agriculture was reduced from 16 hours to 4 hours due to the risks of electricity generation and support for the industrial industry. The crops fell unchanged. In 1957, Narayanasamy Naidu held a meeting of the farmers in Coimbatore and met with the District Collector and Minister of Minorities, explaining the sorrow of the farmers and recovering 16 days of electricity once again. Bhavanam Jayaprada passed away

Bhavanam Jayaparada (77), ex-State Minister (was a Kamma, native of Brahmana Koduru-Guntur district) and wife of former Chief Minister Bhavanam VenkataramReddy   died in Hyderabad on Saturday.  She was the Minister for Power for some time in 1973 in P.V.Nar masimhaRao cabinet , She was elected twice ( 1967,72 ) as MLA from Vinukonda . Jayaprada is survived by two daughters.

The Great Mikkilineni and Pemmasani Rulers of Gandikota

Gandikota is a small village on the right bank of the river Pennar, 15 km from Jammalamadugu in Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh. Gandikota was one of the greatest forts of south India in its hay days and so were the kings who ruled the region. Years after its formation, Gandikota fort was ruled by the Mikkilineni dynasty of Bharadwaja gotra who belonged to a clan of Kamma lords. Kammas were kings belonging to the Solar, lunar and Haihaya clans of Kshatriyas and were said to be ferocious in nature. The kings of Gandikota were equally famous and said to be so powerful, that they could severe the heads of a horseman and the horse with a single stroke of the sword. The location of the fort and the security it offered attracted most of the enemy kings for conquering.
