Indian ace paddler Achanta Sharath Kamal on Saturday clinched his third gold of the National Games by winning the individual men's title.
Achanta, who won gold in the 2010 Commonwealth Games, did not break a sweat in his clinical 4-0 win over Bengal's Anirban Nandi in a match which lasted for 16 minutes.
In the one-sided match, Achanta kept the pressure on Nandi right from the word go and didn't give the Bengal paddler to settle down.
Nandi did get off to a good start in the first set as he was leading 4-3, but Achanta made a solid comeback by giving away only one point to his opponent before winning it 11-5.
Achanta gave away nine points in the second set but there was no let off from the Tamil Nadu paddler as he clinched it 11-9.
There was no looking back for Achanta after taking a 2-0 lead as he won the next two sets with an identical score of 11-6.
