Sakku Group produces Eggs, Day old chicks, Cotton lint, Cotton Yarn and has its marketing network in 16 states i.e A.P, T.N, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal, Assam, U.P, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Chattisgarh, and M.P.
Venkatrama Poultries Ltd., a Sakku Group company stands as the largest Egg producing company in India with a daily production of 25 lakhs (i.e) 30 Eggs per second. The company is marketing its products under the brand name “SAKKU”. The group is having wind turbine generators with an installed capacity of 4.35 M.W
Poultry breeding is one of the group activities through which “Bovans” layer chicks are bred and marketed throughout India. “Bovans” Grand Parents are imported from ISA, Netherlands. Bovans is enjoying a sizeable market share in India. The group is also planning to market “Sakku-Sasso” color broilers in India shortly. These free range birds are imported from Sasso, France. Sakku Hatcheries is the sole distributor for Bovans and Sasso in India.
Paruchuri Cotton products Pvt Ltd an ultra modern Ginning unit located in cotton hub of A.P are producing high quality cotton lint with a production capacity of 30,000 bales per annum.
Sakku group is further investing Rs.312 crores for expansion of poultry & spinning operations. Egg production is enhanced to 50 lakhs per day from existing capacity of 25 lakhs per day with an investment of Rs.200 crores. The company is establishing Environment control and pollution free poultry unit.
Enhancement of spindleage from existing 19000 spindles to 65000 spindles with an investment of 112 crores.
The above two projects are under implementation. By 2012-13 the group is expecting a turnover of Rs.650 crores from existing Rs.320 crores providing employment to 5000 people.
