Guna Muppuri Recently named President of the Business Process Industry Association of Jamaica

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica -- Recently named president of the Business Process Industry Association of Jamaica (BPIAJ) Dr Gunasekhar Muppuri has pledged to partner with government and all other stakeholders to rev up the sector's fight towards improving the destination's tarnished image, brought about by cyber crimes including the lotto scamming.

Meanwhile, during its recent AGM, Dr Guna Muppuri took over the reins of the BPIAJ from Yoni Epstein who headed the organisation since its 2012 inception.

A Physician, by profession graduated from the class of 1986-1991 at S.V. University Medical College, Tirupati-India. Later he migrated to Jamaica in early 1992 and since then, he worked in various capacities as a medical officer in the health care system of Jamaica between private and public sector entities. A compassionate and caring physician with over 20 years of medical experience in Jamaica and 8 years of experience as an entrepreneur in the field of pharmaceuticals. Dr. Muppuri is a visionary principal founder and CEO of Indies Pharma Ja Ltd and under his able stewardship the organization has become a force to reckon with in the generic pharmaceuticals branding and distribution in Jamaica.

Dr. Muppuri is a well established and successful entrepreneur in diversified industries ranging from pharmaceuticals, health care/medical education to heavy metals manufacturing industry. Dr. Muppuri is also the Co-Founder and Promoter of GMP Greenfield India Pvt Ltd, ECOAMIGOS GMP Caribbean, Bioprist Pharmaceuticals NA LLC, Bioprist Las Americas Ltd. Dr. Muppuri will be taking over the responsibility of president of the upcoming International Health Sciences University in order to design and establish the road for a world class Medical and Health Sciences University in the Caribbean.

Bhavanam Jayaprada passed away

Bhavanam Jayaparada (77), ex-State Minister (was a Kamma, native of Brahmana Koduru-Guntur district) and wife of former Chief Minister Bhavanam VenkataramReddy died in Hyderabad on Saturday. She was the Minister for Power for some time in 1973 in P.V.Nar masimhaRao cabinet , She was elected twice ( 1967,72 ) as MLA from Vinukonda . Jayaprada is survived by two daughters.

Chinnamanna Narayanaswamy Naidu , who was born on 06.02.1925 at Seengalipalayam village near Coimbatore, lost his mother in 40 days of birth. Narayanasamy, who was engaged in agriculture after marriage, realized how big a fight was. In the early 1950s, the amount of electricity delivered to agriculture was reduced from 16 hours to 4 hours due to the risks of electricity generation and support for the industrial industry. The crops fell unchanged. The Great Mikkilineni and Pemmasani Rulers of Gandikota

Gandikota is a small village on the right bank of the river Pennar, 15 km from Jammalamadugu in Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh. Gandikota was one of the greatest forts of south India in its hay days and so were the kings who ruled the region. Years after its formation, Gandikota fort was ruled by the Mikkilineni dynasty of Bharadwaja gotra who belonged to a clan of Kamma lords. Kammas were kings belonging to the Solar, lunar and Haihaya clans of Kshatriyas and were said to be ferocious in nature. The kings of Gandikota were equally famous and said to be so powerful, that they could severe the heads of a horseman and the horse with a single stroke of the sword. The location of the fort and the security it offered attracted most of the enemy kings for conquering.
