Koneru's Seattle startup Zenoti raises $15M

Zenoti , which helps spa and salon chains manage their businesses, has raised $15 million in a round led by Norwest Venture Partners, which co-founder and former spa-chain owner Dheeraj Koneru said will help the six-year-old Seattle company expand geographically and enter the fitness and yoga arena. “Software is not looked at as an asset yet in the spa arena, and that’s one of the things we want to change,” said Dheeraj Koneru , who founded Zenoti with his brother, CEO Sudheer Koneru . “Wouldn’t it be great if customers could check in electronically, enjoy their spa experience, walk out without having to stop because their credit card will be debited, provide feedback and get a response? Challapalli Fort - History of Yarlagadda Zamindars

Challapalli is a village in Krishna district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Challapalli mandal of Machilipatnam revenue division. The Rajah of Challapalli, Srimanthu Raja Yaralagadda Ankineedu Prasad Bahadur Garu built this Palace in the early 18th centaury. Then onwards Challapalli became the capital for the Devarkota Estate and the town developed around the palace. It remains as a great example of Andhra architecture to this very day. . Parvathaneni Harish: Indian Ambassador to Viet Nam

Mr. Parvathaneni Harish is the  Ambassador of India to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam since 16th April 2016. Since joining the Indian Foreign Service in 1990, he has learnt Arabic at the American University of Cairo and passed the examination with distinction. He has served in the Indian Missions in Cairo and Riyadh and headed the Post as India's Representative to the Palestinian Authority stationed in Gaza city. He was on Secondment to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) as the Chief of the Policy Analysis Unit at UNRWA Headquarters in Gaza. He thereafter worked in the East Asia and External Publicity Divisions in the Ministry of External Affairs.
