Yugandhar Tammareddy wins The British Council Young Creative Entrepreneur (YCE) Screen Award

Seven young entrepreneurs from India across the sectors of Design, Music, Fashion, Communication, Visual Arts, Screen, Interactive, Performing Arts and Publishing recently competed with their peers and emerged award winners at the The British Council Young Creative Entrepreneur (YCE) Awards ceremony in Delhi.

Hyderabad-based Yugandhar Tammareddy was announced as the YCE Screen for 2010. A first generation entrepreneur and aspiring filmmaker he set up Pixelloid to provide animation and visual effects services and training. Motion pictures, commercials, trailers, music videos, corporate presentations, architectural walkthrough projects have utilised Pixelloid’s creative skills in techniques such as matte painting, computer-generated imagery, visual effects and a variety of related processes required in content creation. Currently he designs and supervises visual effects for feature films, maintains client relationships, runs the company, and sets it’s quality standards and processes.

The Judges citation: Yugandhar is a rare blend of creativity and business acumen that makes for a successful entrepreneur. Animation, graphics and visual special effects are changing the face of entertainment and his business is perfectly placed to exploit this to the fullest.
